I completed Week 1 of the c25k program last evening!!! It had been about 5 days between my runs, because it's been miserably hot and humid here - heat advisories, and heat indexes over 100 degrees for the past week.
Week 1 had 3 days of workouts, that were all the same. After a 5 minute warm-up, I alternated 60 seconds of jogging with 90 seconds of walking, for 20 minutes, then finished with a 3 minute cool down.
I'm ready to step it up a bit during week 2 and progress on my quest to run a 5k! Plus, I'm ready to burn more calories and lose these last few pounds! :)
Bring it, week 2!!!!!
